Our CONO approved herb walks offer 1.5 category A credits each. Certificates will be provided via email following the event. Herb walks are offered at locations throughout the GTA. Participants will learn to identify botanicals in their natural habitats through developing an understanding of basic botanical identification methods including taxonomic details, plant morphology, and organoleptic observation. They will also learn to relate pharmacological qualities of medicinal herbs identified with medicinal actions, integrate concepts of traditional Western medicine with modern phytotherapeutic science and practices, recognising the importance of both in crafting effective holistic herbal treatments.
