“Reishi’s cousin.” Perennial. Wide, flat brownish cap with a white or grey underside. Found in North America on many hardwood trees, also found on Balsam, Poplar, and Spruce in the north; and Maple and Western Cedar west of the Rocky Mountains. Only grows on stressed, dying or dead trees.
